If we can remove a piece of the processes, we should remove it

Rely on open standards

When making product decisions, try to step on open, platform agnostic standards

• Use web scraping instead of closed APIs
• Use email instead of closed APIs
• Use OpenGraph instead of storing product info in the database
• etc

Decide on behalf of the customer

Build the product with opinions and default settings. Ensure the customer gets an AI Agent working with a minimum time & effort.

Once they have an agent working, they can change what they don’t like.

Let them handle it

Our goal is to be small and efficient. We’ll never handle each customer individually.

Ensure a customer can handle everything in the app by themselves, without the help of support.

Support or account managers should use the same product interface as the customers

Reserve the admin console only for options that we intentionally don’t want to provide to the customer.
